Cyberpunk 2077's Patch
CD Projekt Red put out a small teaser of improvements they’ll be making in the latest patch for 2077 that’s designed to fix many of the game’s remaining bugs and glitches. The patch is aimed at decreasing load times on previous-gen consoles, slowing down police response time, and aims to make gameplay more responsive when you're driving. We don't know when the patch will be release but CDPR says it'll come out soon and they'll update us when it does. -

Falcon and The Winter Soldier Premiere
Disney+ premiered their second original series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which for the time being can only be found on the small screen. Falcon and The Winter Soldier, is already a hit, amassing more episode-one views than the highly anticipated WandaVision, which wrapped up just a few weeks ago. The show has been described as a "buddy comedy" so expect some great action set and two dudes just being dudes. -

PlayStation's Play At Home
Sony is working hard to keep gamers indoors, and soon will be offering 10 free games. Starting March 25th gamers will be able to download Thumper, Abzu, Subnautica, Rez Infinite, and Enter the Gungeon just to name a few, along with fan-favorite Horizon Zero Dawn available for download starting April 19th. -

RX 6700 XT Release
AMD released the RX 6700 XT which is a direct competitor to the RTX 3070 and a cheaper graphics card, but arguably more powerful. The RX 6700XT is capable of playing every modern title at 1440P at 60 FPS if not higher, often reaching 120-144 FPS depending on the game and your graphical settings. -

American Gods Season 3 Finale
Starz has been on a roll with its original content lately. American Gods, one of Starz's premiere shows, based on Neil Gaiman book of the same name, ended its third season on a cliffhanger Sunday night. For Starz, the show has brought in steady views and maintained a solid rating. American Gods is about a man recently released from prison who finds out that his wife has died. Now he finds himself stuck in the middle of a war between Gods. -

Avengers Next Gen Upgrade
Marvel’s Avengers has released a next-generation upgrade for players who own a next-gen console. The update improves visuals and decreases load times, though it's apparently quite the task for people importing their data from a PS4, players have already reported huge improvements. Other updates include increased enemy counts, more destructible environments, and higher pixel density so effects like laser blasts and explosions look even crisper. -

Dying Light 2 Update
Dying Light 2 developer Techland put out a small update, letting fans know that development has continued and the game is slated for release this year. Though unfortunately there wasn't much information to go around other than a small gameplay teaser and the promise of a 2021 release date. -

Aliens on Stage
Horror lovers and theater fans got a treat ahead of the annual LV426 day that celebrates the Alien franchise. Aliens on Stage is a theatrical re-telling of the classic sci-fi horror film Aliens. While this surely isn't everyone's cup of tea, if you have a couple of hours to kill, Aliens on Stage is worth your time. -

Doom Eternal - The Ancient Gods Part 2
Doom Eternal’s second expansion launches on April 17th, and will supposedly conclude the Doom Slayer’s saga. Doom Eternal is a fun yet brutal play, and the Ancient Gods expansion will add new enemies to the fight, with along new locations to fight them in. The Ancient Gods Part 2 will test your skills as a gamer but it's a hell of an experience. -

Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne HD Remaster
JRPG lovers celebrated when Sega announced Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne would be re-released this year on current-gen consoles May 25th. The Shin Megami Tensei franchise has always been a niche in North America outside of the Persona releases, like Persona 5 Royal, but the mainline franchise has always had a solid fanbase and Nocturne being re-released will introduce one of the best, but also darkest JRPGs of all time to a new audience. -

The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos
The Outer Worlds is one of the surprise hits of last year and its second DLC expansion launched this week. The Outer Worlds is what many of us wanted from a new Fallout game. A diverse and quirky cast of characters, great environments to explore, and a weird, but engaging story. Murder on Eridanos is the conclusion to the main game's DLC storyline but it plays like a detective noir fiction thriller that shouldn't be missed by fans of the original game. -

Square Enix Conference
Square Enix held a press conference where they announced Life is Strange 2, a Tomb Raider trilogy bundle, a new Avengers DLC, and expansion info, including Black Panther becoming a playable character this fall. -

Zach Snyder’s Justice League Premier
Zach Snyder got to fix the mess Joss Whedon created with Justice League in 2017 and tell his story with DC’s most beloved characters his way this week when the Snyder Cut launched on HBO Max. The Snyder Cut gave extended arcs to characters like Cyborg that were sorely neglected in the original Justice League release, extended many action scenes and gave more meaning to Steppenwolf's quest to try and take over the Earth. The Snyder Cut shouldn't be missed by long time Justice League and DC fans. -

Venom: Let There Be Carnage - Release Date Pushed Back
COVID is still causing issues for movies, and Marvel fans are going to have to wait a little while longer to see the Venom sequel as it's been pushed back to September 17th. 'Let There Be Carnage', featuring Tom Hardy, while not technically an official MCU film, is highly anticipated by Spider-Man fans in hopes the two will meet sometime down the road. Well, that's only a rumor but we can hope! -

EA Play Is Coming To Xbox Game Pass For PC
Xbox isn’t messing around, they brought the EA catalogue to Xbox Gamepass on PC with no extra cost to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Through EA Play you'll be able to play all of the Mass Effect, Battlefield, and even Star Wars games you've missed in recent memory. Haven't played Jedi Fallen Order yet? No worries, if you have Game Pass, you can play to your heart's content.
